      Evangel Prison Ministries has a vision to reach inmates and their families throughout all 50 states with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through ten correspondence courses (certificate of completion awarded), Christian Pen Pal Ministry, SET FREE—Inside Edition Devotional Newsletter, and Intercessory Prayer. Through these various means of outreach we get inmates saved, born-again, filled with the Spirit, and we help them to grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord Jesus. Click here for actual testimonies. (An inmate who is reached with the Gospel while in prison will be a better citizen when released back into society!)

      Evangel Prison Ministries also reaches out to inmates and their families in Kentucky and Southern Indiana with all of the above, PLUS: Inside Services, Crusades, Encounters, Cell Block Ministry, Bibles given out in the jails, Christmas Stocking Project (giving Christmas stockings to the children of inmates when they visit their parent), Camp for Kids (sending children of inmates to Christian camp for a week in the summer), Back to School Project, Easter Outreach, Adopt-a-Family Project, Support Groups, and more. We are also ministering in five youth Centers.

Planning Stages:

    • Ways to begin ministering in several foreign countries.
    • Set up one of our ministry phone extensions (#1260) to be
       used for a prayerline for the families of inmates to call in for prayer.
    • Begin holding Marriage Seminars in the prisons for inmates & their spouse.
    • Put together a correspondence course for the youth center teens.

      It is our desire to reach each inmate in every prison and jail in all 50 states with the Gospel. We also desire to reach each inmate’s family throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
